Thanks for some of your inquiries of what I’ve been doing. Yes, I am still alive haha. I apologize for not updating new content on the Boatyard recently. Truth is, I’ve been swamped at work and having to do my day job duties, and it has not been easy to write as much as I would like to. I am happy to say, however, that all chapters of the Boatyard as it would stand as a finished story are completed, and now you can download a copy of the Boatyard and read it as it was properly envisioned to be read on kindle. Just click on the link below.
I’m not really trying to make a fortune off this project, so it being my first book I’ve tried to promote and publish properly, I want people to just read it and enjoy a story with the trade off of having readers provide me feedback more than anything else. With that said, the Boatyard should be FREE for the promotional period of time kindle allows for their promotional deals on books (which I believe can continually be reset after a cyclical amount of time).
Writing The Boatyard has been more of a therapeutic past time and my chance to develop my skills as a writer. I do take pride in the story, the overall outline of the bigger mythology I am creating, the characters, and the emotions the central characters must be feeling as the story has evolved. Much of the feedback people have sent me from emails or comments has been positive, and I appreciate the support <thumbs up>! So that’s the latest news: the link above should have the book free on amazon for a promotional duration of time. But if your link does not show this, please leave a comment or email me and I can post more content here on this site.
By the way, I plan to continue writing about Michelle and her friends and more short related stories here on this site now that summer has started and I have more time to write. So if you would like to see more stuff, please let me know. Keep in touch!
